Jaimie Kaster, Business Owner, HIS

Business Owner, Hearing Instrument Specialist

“Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience. You need experience to gain wisdom.” -Albert Einstein

“Hearing holds an intimate place in my heart, as I have suffered from a hearing loss since the age of 3. I knowfirst-hand the challenges that come with hearing loss. My journey with hearing loss and being able to advocate for my patients has been nothing short of “rewarding”

Jaimie has worked in the medical field since the age of 17 and specifically in the hearing industry for 16 years. She is a board member of the Wisconsin Alliance for Hearing Professionals, a member of the International Hearing Society, and a member at both the Green Bay and De Pere Chambers.

Jaimie uses evidence-based treatment, education, interactive traditional and non-traditional solutions, and her life experience with hearing loss to provide her patients with real results and hearing their absolute best.

“Hearing is complex; no two hearing losses are alike and should not be treated as “one size fits all.” I look at every hearing loss individually and with an investigative mind. I will not quit until my patients are hearing their absolute best while at the same time preserving unaffected areas of the hearing nerve along with cognitive function.

Experiencing hearing loss myself, I can empathize and better advocate for my patients. I want my patients to know they are the most important person in the room when they are with me and am with them every step of the way on their journey to better hearing health.”

Jaimie enjoys the piano, camping, fishing, traveling and spending time with her husband, children, and her bernadoodle.

Jesse C. Kaster, Business Owner, BC-HIS

Business Owner, Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist

Jesse C. Kaster is the proud owner of Hearing Advantage and is one of the most “sought after” hearing providers in Wisconsin. His ingenious methodology and mechanical aptitude when treating hearing loss and programming prescriptions to their maximum benefit makes him one of the leading providers for patients.

Jesse graduated UW Steven’s Point with a bachelor’s degree as a registered dietician while serving in the U.S. Army reserves for 8 years. It was working in a nursing facility directing the food department, that he saw how hearing loss affected so many patients even while trying to order meals. He decided to take a turn in his career, furthered his education, and has worked in the hearing industry for over 25 years. His impressive credentials extend to his status as a Board- Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist in the state of Wisconsin, has successfully taught, trained, and licensed 6 additional Hearing Instrument Specialists in the State of WI, and he truly stands out as an “expert” in the hearing industry. His relentless commitment to finding solutions for patients with hearing loss is unmatchable. Jesse enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling, skiing, and boating.

Decibel

Meet Decibel, The Human Ear

Decibel is an accomplished and nationally recognized expert in the hearing industry. Her dedication and unwavering commitment and efforts in finding new and innovative solutions for treating hearing loss are almost “unheard of.”

She is deeply fascinated with the auditory system and is always researching new trials in treating tinnitus, hearing loss, and communication disfunction.

For Decibel, hearing is a way of life. Her reputation “speaks volumes” about her.

We recently “heard through the grapevine” that she is coming out with a you tube channel to educate people on hearing loss and disorders, so be sure to keep an “ear out” for more information so you can “tune in” to her channel. We “heard” the new hearing aids are going to be an “ear-changer” in the industry!

Decibel educates her patients on the ear-brain connection, tinnitus, hyperacusis, and hearing loss. The direct link between hearing loss and Dementia/Alzheimer’s disease is “clear as a bell.” Her philosophy is “actions speak louder than words”, and hearing treatment should never be put off.

Hearing loss is serious. Loss of independence, safety, cognitive decline, social isolation, and falls are just a few. Trust us, you will never “Hear” the end of it if you do not take care of your ears. She does not like it when her education is “in one ear and out the other” or “falls on deaf ears!”

Decibel is proud and honored to be able to give her patients the resources they need to advocate for their hearing healthcare. It makes her “smile from ear to ear” or in her words “brings music to my ears” when she is able to witness the miracle of hearing for the first time again with her patients.

Decibel can usually be found at local community events, our clinic, or taking selfies with our patients. Her hobbies include “hearing” the sounds of everyday life, playing the “ear” drums, and spending time with her husband “the cochlea” and three children, the “incus, stapes, and malleus.”
